Fantastic Taco!

So, have you tried the Taco Bell(R) Dorito Locos Taco yet?

I had my first one last week and loved it.  I was skeptical at first.  I thought, "What place does a Dorito have with taco fixings?"  With the first bite I realized that a Dorito belonged with ground beef, lettuce, and sour cream.  Feeling the Dorito dust flakes on my fingertips intensified the whole experience.

The downside?  I only had one Dorito Locos Taco as I ordered the $5 box, which came with a drink, a Burrito Supreme, and a soft shell taco.  I chose this as my meal just in case I was disappointed.  I wasn't.

I had to pass the love on, so on Sunday I mentioned my awesome experience to my husband and we ran to the Border (okay, we drove).  We both ordered two of the Dorito Locos Tacos.  My husband agreed that the flavors worked well with each other.  Until he had it physically in his hand, he couldn't understand how the Dorito was part of the taco.

My hat is off to the genius who thought of this concoction, it is one of the best fast food ideas in a quite a while.
